Really good training, very engaging and insightful. Good understanding and knowledge to provide a base. Changes perception and the way to approach suicide

Thank you Steve. This is the first time I have participated in training like this. I feel the communication skills we have discussed today are beneficial for both my professional and private life. It has encouraged my confidence with how I can better support the people around me. I also found the signposting to the extra resources including Hub of Hope, beneficial. Having the book is a good tool to refer back to.

Great course that I think anyone who works with children and families should do. M/H and suicide can feel scary however this course makes you realise that by asking simple questions then you can make a real difference

Very informative, reflective and motivating to encourage us to feel confident in our ability to support these young people with their overwhelming emotions.

Alison had the right level of experience to deliver this well and was relatable . She also had a sense of humor in which I felt made a hard subject a little easier ,
