Have not attending a course like this before. It was interesting to understand how the knowledge we have integrates with other professionals and that the key messages are important in all our work. Understanding how important it is we work together to support children and their families. Will definitely look into attending more courses like this.

Fantastic course thank you. My colleague and I who attended the course work for Action for Children running the Incredible Years Parenting Programmes. We felt really proud after the session as lots of what was discussed consolidated that we are definitely on the right track in supporting families with additional needs. We also recognised that we are asking the right questions at assessment stage. I liked the way attachment disorder was covered and especially regarding girls on the spectrum as we have quite a lot on our programmes now and felt the slides were so informative. This was great for my learning as very visual..

Really interesting, content some of which I had covered before but it was good to re-cap. Slides were really good.

Brilliant course with lots of detail that I can refer back to as I need. This is a very useful course for me as I like to have materials that act as an aid memoir that Incan refer to for ideas and to check my instincts. Marked low on two items only because they were not relevant to the training. These were about the course.

A brilliant workshop delivered by Dr Kiran Nijabat who obviously has an incredible depth of knowledge of ADHD and ASD. I do not feel the workshop has taught me to manage anxiety per se although I understand that if we understand the communication behind the behaviour we can reduce anxieties in our children and young people.

Found the information provided extremley interesting and will be useful to support in my role working with children with additional needs and also on a personal level with a child with difficulties- many of which discussed today. It reassures that not a bad parent and that we are doing the best we can to support my child. Indeed not a naughty child. _ Child had a statement of educational need but no diagnosis. Suggested ADHD and high functioning ASD Would love to take part in further training event.

This content was only briefly touched on - I would have liked a whole session on ASD and the management of this and the same for ADHD/ADD/ODD. More time would have been good as there was such a lot to cover. I have covered attachment but think this too should be a stand alone workshop. Dr.Kiran Nijabat did an excellent whistlestop tour :)
