Gary was very good at keeping everyone engaged by constantly opening discussions up to the room. We spent equal time in the class room as we did doing practical work which was brilliant and helping us familiarise ourselves with the equipment we would be working with. Would definitely recommend this course to others.

I really enjoyed this course! Jason Emery is an excellent teacher, and I’d be very happy to have him as my assessor for my HV course.

Training at Faraday Centre is far superior than training at PPL training, they allow you to learn at nice pace instead of being rushed. Jason was a pleasure to work with and has a vast wealth of knowledge.

Venue great, catering one day did. Not get food as per oder considering that I have allergies this was a big thing. Phil was great one of the best lecturers I have has delivered content well Course content need reviewing as not really complex switching. On practical it would be great to have bus coupled switch gear and generator and ups due to being more realistic to what you would find on site also with the amount of renewable energy pv and ev should be considered

Lecturer (Phil King) was outstanding, top guy and very knowledgeable. Read the audience well. Course content is very theoretical heavy and there’s too much repetition in parts. Food was ok but the servings were small, maybe a self service salad bar would be a good addition.

The course reaffirmed the theory I’d been taught a few years ago. The practical was really useful as I’ve not really spent any time on switchboards before.
