Good ,friendly atmosphere, helped by the tutor,overall a relaxed day with a good result

After taking this course previously with a different training company and failing the exam i was understandably nervous about taking the course again, but there was no need as the tutor was really professional and informative and explained as much detail as he could in the day and i beleive this is why i passed the exam on this occssion, well done and thanks to andy ( the tutor) and teqnique learning.

was a shame as the course was great but I personally needed a little longer and would advise anyone without a solid electrical back ground to op for two day course as there is an awful lot to try an digest in 4 hrs but definitely worth while, from my results it the prior knowledge that let me down however toughly enjoyed the course . in words of a famous actor I'll be back

Came away with the qualification... can’t be more positive... only downside is the stated times of 9-4 are in achievable considering the amount to do for the exam. This caused a bit of hassle due to having to re arrange childcare after being under the impression I would finish at 4. Gladly Allan said from the start it would be later than that, the website/course info should be updated.

The course is far to much to be put into 1 day with the test on the same day. Definitely should only be offered as a 2 day course.

I would like to say that Keith Nadin was a brilliant tutor and took as much time as possible to help us through the day. Unfortunately it must be said that the 1 day course is in no way, long enough to cover the information that is required for the examinations. Though I was fortunate enough to have done my own research prior to the day and also partook in numerous mock exams, I feel that had I not done this, I would most certainly have failed. During the day Keith took us through the course book and tried his best to ensure that we were aware of the relevant parts. As some of the questions that came up were about other textbooks that I had not read, I had no chance in getting them right. Overall I would say that the one day course needs to be aimed solely at people with lots of knowledge of the subject already, failure to do so will create a false economy and do nothing but leave people out of pocket as they will have to do it again should they fail.

John was brilliant throughout the whole course and clearly was very talented and had a lot of knowledge! I had a great experience and a lot of fun.

Enjoyed the course. I thought more hands on testing might have been beneficial.. The tutor was clear and precise but as usual the C&G exam used wording for the questions that were not familiar with the way i had been taught or by studying the IET Code of Practice book. I think for a one day course students must really study at home before the day even those who are in the electrical trade. It will certainly pay dividends. Drinks were adequate and even enjoyable but the chicken in my Chicken salad was over cooked and very dry and hard. Overall a very enjoyable day with a very good pass in PAT testing i will use your centre again.
