The Legal Tech Conference Reviews

Aoife R, 29 Nov 2024

La Touche Training brought together Ireland's leading experts in legal, AI, forensics, data analytics, eDiscovery and cyber security for this outstanding annual conference. The knowledge sharing was excellent - speakers analysed complex legal issues in an accessible way and participants were given an opportunity to discuss problematic legal issues relevant to their areas of practice. This was a worthwhile conference, pertinent to everybody - from newly qualified legal professionals to senior members of the judiciary. I can't recommend this training enough.

I found the Conference very well presented and very relevant on content. I learnt a lot. The room was airy and comfortable and well provided with notepads and water. I really enjoyed the opening structure where the Paul Gallagher SC outlined his knowledge of the area and his areas of concern for lawyers , innovation etc . I also enjoyed the method of presentation ie by individual speakers and by panel discussions which is lively and engaging when one is learning a heavy subject like AI . It was a good mix. Also the presentation by McNulty was an inspired welcome change of mood to interactive human listening and well being. He did inject an energy into the room. One suggestion ; While I appreciate that you have to keep to a timetable I do think a short (15 minute ) break between each new topic, for a drink , chat with colleague , time to process etc would make the Conference more enjoyable and improve the learning experience.

I would have liked more information on eDiscovery and how "practically" law firms doing eDiscovery in the current climate with AI. Before lunch was much better than after lunch
