ILM Level 5- Coaching & Mentoring Training Reviews

The last two days have provided the perfect springboard for the professional challenges I face ahead of me. Laura was able to elicit open and honest discussions, where we felt at ease both celebrating our small wins, and reflecting on our areas for development. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the course and feel a great sense of comfort from the quality of the training - I can already see real impact.

To be able to spend such an amount of time considering how to develop into an effective coach, exploring models and discussing in depth so many aspects of coaching has felt a real privilege. Laura has been professional, approachable and encouraging throughout. She has a natural way of putting you at ease and encouraging you to discuss in depth. She has a depth of knowledge that she draws on and links to your own organisation and situation. The opportunity to be coached as part of the training has also been invaluable. Darren, you were a fantastic trainer- thank you. You were really encouraging even when challenging us which is a great skill. I've seen my own skills improving over the course of the 3 practice sessions which has made me feel much more confident. Genuinely this has been the best training course I've been on in the last 3 years. Venue was lush too- very comfy and creative.

Really enjoyable course with an excellent mix of theory and practice

Laura was so friendly, engaging and knowledgeable on coaching. There was lots of discussion throughout both days which was very helpful, as were the role play exercises. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the theory behind coaching and how this would relate to my future assignments - Laura's enthusiasm on the subject was infectious and I am very much looking forward to this qualification. Laura was very understanding of the work involved and gave lots of support, which has left me fairly confident in tackling the first few assignments. I've given a five for most of the answers as I feel this was one of the most useful and well delivered courses I have been on for a long time. The content was just enough and relevant for what we needed to know. It was backed up by practical examples and Laura's style of delivery was so approachable and welcoming. I enjoyed all of it and the time just flew
