About this course
The NHS prides itself on its ability to constantly improve standards at all levels.
To this aim, it is imperative that each individual within each team strives to improve themselves through personal and team development programmes. Always seeking to be better.
Teaching others is a skill which many aspire to, but don’t always fulfil. Our aim of this programme is to give the tools and techniques to ensure teachers are competent to deliver first class education in a practical way.
During the programme, each delegate will prepare and deliver two teaching sessions. This will consist of a 5-minute session on the first morning and a 10-minute session on the final afternoon.
Delegates will also conduct a feedback session after observing a colleague deliver their programme.

Recent reviews
Had a lot of fun and learned a lot, thank you very much!
Would of liked more time on teaching techniques and examples
I thought the activities were very useful as they gave me ideas on useful training methods and teaching aids. I enjoyed learning about behavior profiling and thought the tips on how to structure ( in particular starting and ending) training were good. Sam was very professional, engaging and had a wealth of knowledge to pass on. I would have liked to see some specific examples of good training presentations and practiced presenting a little more.
