Description
This full-day workshop aims to help you understand the challenges women face throughout their reproductive lives and how SFH can benefit them.
During the workshop, we will cover a brief difference between the male and female brain, examine the Menstrual Cycle, and provide foundation knowledge to help practitioners understand how hormonal changes affect women and how to help women reduce stress and anxiety and regain control over their bodies.
With 1 in 5 women experiencing anxiety and depression and more than twice as many women than men in the UK having a Common Mental Health issue, the reason is believed to be due to the hormonal changes women experience throughout their reproductive lives.
This CPD explains the various events, including PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome), PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), low libido and sexual dysfunction, common Gynaecological issues such as endometriosis, anxiety, and depression relating to pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, contraceptives, and their effect on the brain.
This CPD’s objective is to allow you to adapt the IC with knowledge of the background information about women’s reproductive health and adapt your marketing towards women’s health.
