Description The Project Management Training Course is primarily for the managers who are not qualified project managers but who are tasked with managing projects of all sizes and complexity.
Delegates on the training course will learn the fundamentals of project management. This training course is designed for all managers who need project management and planning skills to do their job effectively, but who are not formally trained as project managers. We will explore various techniques for structured planning and provide the tools to manage projects within time, quality and budget constraints.

This course has given me a better understanding of the project management framework, which helps me better understand my position within the larger whole. This course has also given me a better understanding of the terminology used in my team, making it easier to follow the structures and process thinking that is in place. I am also walking away with tools to help me take some more control over my section within a project, eventually leading workstreams to a successful close.

I thought Karen was a natural presenter. As well as presenting she was also a great listener and very personable. She kept the course engaging and informative throughout without getting too bogged down in the theory. I particularly liked how she kept linking it back to our own experiences and projects to give it a real life perspective.

I really enjoyed the training and learning more about the components of Project Management. It made me think about what I already apply to my work when it comes to Project Management. I do implement some of the planning and risk assessment and mitigation aspects, but at a novice level. This training will enable me to apply these at a higher and more robust level, which will help me in my work.
