It was very informative but as other of our colleagues have mentioned, it does not tackle children with SEND.

Thank you for creating such a safe, welcoming and positive space for us to listen, discuss and consider what is a traumatic and sometimes taboo subject matter. I found the manner and engagement of all trainers to be very kind and encouraging, sincere and helpful, but not patronising, which is sometimes a difficult balance to strike especially when interacting with a group of individuals from mixed backgrounds and who you haven't had prior interactions with. Thanks again to you all.

The lived experiences were extremely powerful! Very powerful to see you both embracing it to make a difference to others lives.

I learned so much and was good to listen, felt lots of people in the talk had a lot of experience in this topic. It was good to get a better understanding and how i can help my students or anymore i come across with their problems.

This training was very informative and I now feel more equipped to support children and young people who are bereaved through parental suicide. It's given me things to think about in the language we use and the importance of being truthful at an age appropriate level to try and mitigate the impact the lack of truthfulness can give rise to. However, as discussed at the end of the session it would be helpful to have more bespoke training for our SEN setting.
