Description
An interactive one-day training programme rooted in a Trauma Informed Practise (TIP) approach to protect clients and self when recounting and re-living traumatic events. This may be during the witness statement process and when managing anticipatory and bereavement grief. The effects of trauma exposure on lawyers through clients’ statements will be examined including recognising and managing challenging emotions, vicarious trauma, PTSD etc. in the context of self-protection and self-preservation through self-care.
