About this course
When companies go off track – unexpected risks become reality, unplanned-for claims arrive without notice, a sudden vacancy appears among top management – shareholders look to the Board of Directors for an explanation and a remedy. But how do we know if directors are effective? And how should we measure their performance? This training workshop examines ‘what good looks like’ for members of a board when carrying out their duties – including the Board chairman, the Company Secretary and non-executive directors.

Recent reviews
I liked the case studies and the interactions with fellow participants but would like more real life case studies from Nigeria or Africa. I was not around for the group photo but was made aware that the course organiser was discourteous.
I loved the fact that the consultant compared the Nigerian Corporate Code with the UK Code, and it was very useful. The training was very well curated and touched on relevant duties of the Board.
Engaging session.
