Description
Who is this ACS renewal reassessment gas safe course aimed at?
The ACS reassessment course is for existing gas engineers who wish to renew their gas qualifications. All ACS gas qualifications will expire after five years from when they originally qualified. For gas engineers to continue working in the gas industry and to stay on the gas safe register, then they must renew their qualifications, otherwise they may be working illegally.
You can undertake ACS reassessments.
If your qualification has expired but hasn’t expired for more than 12 months
Your qualification is due to expire within six months’ time.
If your qualification has expired for more than 12 months, then an Initial assessment will have to be undertaken. Generally initial assessments incorporate additional exams and extra practical tasks.
We can offer ACS reassessments for CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, and MET1. These can be offered as a package or individual assessments, for example HTR1 only or CCN1 only.
Reassessment ACS is a mixture of assessing both your practical skills and theory knowledge and covers all updates since you last took the qualification.
