For both elements, we will explore the reasons behind it, its impact, and how the manager can approach it in the first instance. By looking into the background of these 2 elements, we will start to understand more of the behaviour and why it is happening in the team. From there, we will explore its impact, and we will look at what the manager will have to take in hand. By also exploring the impact on the manager, we can look at barriers and any enabling behaviours that have gone in the past. By replacing these with constructive strategies, we will equip our team managers with methods and practical elements that they can use to manage their teams constructively going forward.
