Description

Early Career Management and Development has been designed and successfully delivered by ABSTRACT as an early career development programme. Participants will typically be in more junior roles and are likely to have been identified for future career progression. For example, this may include post-graduate and/or post-apprentice scheme delegates.

Early Career Management and Development can be delivered as a stand-alone programme but is also positioned as a forerunner to our award-winning AMBITION and ACCELERATE Programmes. Early Career Management and Development introduces topics that are covered in more depth in AMBITION and ACCELERATE, but in shorter, 90-minute soundbite sessions offering a neat and impactful introduction to topics that they will need as their career develops.

Definitely a more personal session, but excellent material. It really made me think and I have some good actions to take away and think about/do. Anne was fantastic as usual. I really feel like I can be open and honest and she is so supportive. I’ve really be enjoying these sessions!

Great session, although personally struggled with the self management section. Personas annd imposter syndrome are really important and useful in framing interactions. Definitely preferred in person to Zoom.

A really useful session and I felt more confident to speak out with my views / comments. I think the only additional point to add would be providing some more suggestions of how to improve networks / self management / time management.
