Elearn - AHERA LEA's Designated Person Training

Description

Under the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) all local education agencies (LEAs) must designate a person to ensure that the LEA's requirements under AHERA are properly implemented. LEAs include public and private nonprofit elementary and secondary schools (from kindergarten to 12th grade, including governing authority of any school operated under the defense dependent’s education system).
