About this course

So many times we have seen managers get promoted because of their technical capability and yet struggle with the transition to management. We spend months, and sometimes years, being trained and educated to fulfil our roles as technical experts but when we get promoted we seldom get an induction in to our new role.

TSW believe that giving existing and newly appointed managers the tools to do the job at the outset is paramount to success in the role and sustained high performance for the organisation.

What you will learn

  • Adopt attitudes and practice characteristics and behaviours akin to a high performing middle manager
  • Create a SMART development plan that translates learnt skills and knowledge into action in the workplace
  • Develop a strong self-awareness so that they become reflective and understand how they must develop to reach their full potential
  • Take action following the course to ensure their team receives effective communication, direction and support, in order that they too can perform to their maximum potential
