About this course
To attend Trigraph's Data Analytics courses participants can do the following
- attend the Combined Foundation & Advanced Data Analytics course over 4 days - see Data Analytics (4 Day) for course information
or
- Split their attendance by attending the 2-day Foundation in Data Analytics course and then attending this 2-day Advanced course in Data Analytics some time later.
This course is ideal for people who have completed the 2-day Data Analytics Foundation course
and want to learn the more advanced topics
This course is recommended for all those in an organisation who want to get a good understanding of Data Analysis, the methodology, the main tools and tests and when to use them and when not.
Prerequisites are:
1. Attendance on our 2-day Data Analytics Foundation course
or
2. Have a strong understanding of the topics covered in the Foundation course

Day 3 and 4 – Advanced participants
Day 3: Hypothesis testing - Part II, Statistical Process Control, Regression and capability analysis
Day 4: Common Errors in the following areas:
- Sources
- Data collection
- Data quality
- Estimation
- Graphics
- Choosing the test
- Statistical procedures
- Interpreting results
- Reporting

The printed material was quite technical but the trainer applied a real life and practical focus to the course which was invaluable and made it easy to learn data analytics. The course was enjoyable due to the skills and experience of the trainer and the examples shown that relate to common scenarios in business. The use of these scenarios was extremely beneficial and I was happy the course focused on this rather than focusing too much on the theory of data analytics.
