Description
This short event will include an introduction to Mindfulness and some simple meditations such as the Body Scan, mindful eating and Yoga-based movements. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about aspects of Mindfulness training.
What you will learn
You will be able to learn about what Mindfulness is, and also what it is not. The session will include a summary of the main qualities that are cultivated in Mindfulness training, such as acceptance, letting go, patience, trust and self-compassion. You will also practise a Body Scan and some other simple meditations, and there will be discussions following each one.
