NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate

Description

The NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (EMC) is a globally recognised, SCQF Level 6 environmental qualification that equips managers, supervisors, and environmental professionals with practical tools to improve organisational environmental performance and reduce harm—whether in the UK or internationally
NEBOSH

With approximately 34 hours of taught instruction, 25 hours of private study, and 8 hours dedicated to assessments, this certificate offers a solid, stand-alone introduction to environmental management systems, impact control, and sustainable decision-making

Delivered through accredited NEBOSH Learning Partners across multiple formats (classroom, virtual classrooms, in-company training, and e-learning), the course is accessible to professionals worldwide. There are no formal entry requirements, though a foundational level of English (IELTS score of ~6.0) is recommended to fully engage with the concepts

The qualification comprises two units—EMC1 (scenario-based written assessment) and EMC2 (practical workplace application)—both of which must be passed to earn the certificate. The final grade is determined from EMI1 results (Distinction: 75+, Credit: 65–74, Pass: 45–64)
