Practical Fire Safety Training

Description

Our practical fire safety training is a short course that has a duration of 2 hours. The training is suitable for employees of all levels who do not have a specific fire safety role. The course will cover all the legal requirements, company policy and procedure of fire safety – including fire extinguishers, fire drills and evacuation procedures.

The overall aim of the course is to impart to all members of staff an understanding of company policy and procedures and to promote good fire safety practices.

• Company Policy & Procedures
• Know your fire evacuation strategy
• Staged Evacuation
• Evacuation equipment and demonstration (ALBAC Mats)
• Purpose of Periodic Fire Drills
• Fire drill incorporating smoke and heat or tabletop scenario
• How to tackle fire safely
• Types of Extinguishers
• Practical extinguishers (2kg Carbon Dioxide)

Extinguisher training includes all current legislation, colour codes etc.
Easy to use handouts and practical application of extinguishers.

This course is presented using PowerPoint via projector screen and videos.
