About this course
NYS requires that a certified supervisor must be present at the abatement site to oversee the workers. The supervisor ensures that workers are adhering to proper procedures as well as individual safety procedures. NYS also requires asbestos abatement companies to have a licensed supervisor to obtain an asbestos company license.
