Description
This course aims to assist staff in collaboration with other team members, to provide consistent, high-quality ongoing and end-of-life care to service users and their families.
What you will learn
• Recognise the importance of good communication with service users, their families and each other.
• Have gained confidence regarding assisting service users and their families in meeting their end-of-life needs.
• Better understand their organisation’s Bereavement and end-of-life Policy and procedures.
• Be able to identify how to provide appropriate bereavement support.
• Be able to identify limitations and common anxieties surrounding death and dying and know where to access specialist help and support.
