Description
This live on-line interactive webinar is designed for the more experienced individual who may be looking to discuss current Commercial Property (including Property Owners) insurance issues and/or be seeking a refresher on Commercial Property insurance.
The course will be highly interactive with delegate participation and engagement throughout. This half day course consists of two 90-minute on-line sessions with a 15 minute break.
The course aims to explore in detail certain elements of Commercial Property Insurance. Delegates are invited to complete a pre-course questionnaire highlighting their areas of interest. The course will be tailored accordingly. The details below are subject to those amendments.
This course looks to build on elements which would have been covered in Introductory and Intermediate level courses.
The course is delivered by a Chartered Insurance Broker with over 40 years insurance experience who is a certified on-line facilitator (COLF).
There will be a maximum of 10 delegates.

- Getting the sums insured right including when to use indemnity, reinstatement, first loss basis of cove or Parametric Insurance
- Issues with listed properties,
- Insuring complex /old machinery and computer systems,
- Alternative methods of insuring stock, floating covers – multi locations
- Inflation protection – Is Day 1 cover always the best option?
- Being aware of the critical exclusions e.g. Cyber/War
- MMC- modern methods of construction
- Open forum to discuss current issues
