The Learn-Apply-Reflect model is designed to get your learners practicing skills and putting them into action. The quicker and more frequently a participant can take a learning, apply it to a real-life situation (typically in their own work environment), and dissect their performance of it, the quicker a new skill becomes a habit.

· 10 days of project coaching – supporting the learners as they apply the learning in real life improvement projects that deliver real value back to the business (with quantifiable ROI, and/or with strategic business value). Projects can be delivered individually, or sometimes a larger improvement project can be worked on by a small team of, say, 2-3 learners. Each learner would be supported by the coach for 30-60 minutes per week over 10 weeks (this model can vary depending on the scale of projects chosen, the number of learners per project etc).
· A “Celebration of Success” live event (online or in-person) where learners present to their peers, to selected management, and to Trigraph specialists an A3 Storyboard summarising their project from the initial problem statement, to the tools and methodologies used, to the challenges they faced, to the key lessons learned and to the business benefits accruing. A formal Certificate of Achievement is presented based on successful project delivery.
We believe that putting the learning into practice (like the above) is far more effective than just attending a course. The problem with training courses is that, sometimes when the learner returns to work, there is a backlog of emails / tasks etc to catch up on and the training course learnings “fade in to the rear-view mirror” and the key learnings can be forgotten. With the learn / apply / reflect model we believe the learning becomes embedded more effectively and becomes the norm in how things are done in the future – not only did they learn it, but they have actually done it in practice in a real life work environment.
A key result of these programmes is the quantifiable value delivered to the business. In our experience, a typical class of 12-15 learners delivers value that is over 10 times the cost of the course in a short few months.
This approach improves on the stickiness of the learning with many applicants very keen to deliver higher value business benefits by progressing to Black Belt level.
