This introductory early years programme will equip you with the information that you need to decide whether a career in childcare is for you.
Over one-week, you will find out what it’s like to work within an early years environment. You will cover a variety of different phases that are crucial for a career in childcare, and if you successfully pass the course, walk away with a level 1 award to add to your CV.
The level 1 programme will help you to enhance your understanding of childcare and learn about the role and responsibilities of an early years practitioner.
This course is aimed at those individuals wishing to start their career in childcare, or those that want to gain knowledge of the industry. If you decide this is a sector for you, then we can help you to find apprenticeship opportunities with employers after you complete the introductory programme.

The course is delivered in cohorts throughout the year, so you will get to network with individuals who are also considering a career in childcare.
An early years expert trainer will guide you through the programme, and you will get access to resources which will support your studying. This can be through online learning or within a classroom.
